A lake close by is Mud Flat Lake, and Crosswoods is a tremendous campground nearby. This lake is so wonderful. You could also go to Hay Lake while you're here at Heart Lake; it's close by; there are tremendous locations to discover along the North Country Trail. Summertime highs at Heart Lake ordinarily tend to be in the 70's.       During the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 50's. All through the winter highs are ordinarily in the 10's; through the dark hours in the winter at Heart Lake temperatures sink to the-10's.
