Whitewater paddling is good on Wolf River, and Jesse's wolf River Lodge is a glorious campground here. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a spot to stay Lepak Cottage & Lake Home is a perfect choice; Hazel Lake is a       tremendous place to camp, Raft 'n Rest Campgrounds is a tremendous place. From a rain point of view Hazel Lake is a relatively common location; most of the rain falls through September; February is the month with the least moisture. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 70's to Hazel Lake with nighttime lows in the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 10's, and all through the dark hours in the winter at Hazel Lake temperatures descend to the-10's.                  Yeah, come here to Hazel Lake for a pleasant time. While you're here at Hazel Lake you can take a hike along the Eds Lake Trail System, and hiking along the Popple Ridge Snowmobile Trail is wonderful fun.
