This lake is so wonderful. If the weather is great here at Hayden Lake, you can go for a hike along the Markville Snowmobile Trail, and you're possibly hooked on lakes, Long Lake is one of those nearby. This lake is so       wonderful. Loon Creek is in the neighborhood of Hayden Lake and is always a joy to check out. Hayden Lake gets a typical amount of yearly rain; most of the rain falls through August, and February on the other hand is the driest. On a splendid day at Hayden Lake you can take a hike along the Minnesota-Wisconsin Boundary State Trail; camping at Du Four's Pine Tree Campground is always a wonderful experience. This is a glorious area for folks who like lakes.                  Round Lake is a lake close by, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Lower Tamarack River. You think that's enough? Just getting warmed up. Dry warm beds await you at Best Western Northwoods Lodge, and if you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Yellow Lake Golf Course is close by. Lodge at Crooked Lake is a pleasant location to get some rest, and you don’t have to go far from Hayden Lake to observe the water at Danbury Dam. Throughout the warm months here at Hayden Lake, high temperatures regularly reach the 80's, and during the night it cools down to the 50's.
