Hay Lake is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. A splendid nearby hotel is Northern Pine Inn. An average amount of rainfall falls at Hay Lake; throughout August this area sees the most rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a spot to stay Americinn - Hayward, Wi is a great choice; Hay Lake is a perfect place to camp, Jack's Canoe Rental is a perfect place.

| | Stay the night at Nelson Lake Lodge, and Namekagon River is a great whitewater spot nearby. A lake close by is Deer Lake, and if you don't mind getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Totogatic River. For the period of the warm days of summer, highs usually are in the 80's at Hay Lake. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 50's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Hay Lake are in the-10's.
