Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this place. There are other sites here than Hay Creek Lake 59, for example Rock Dam Lake; get yourself into a kayak and hit Eau Claire River. Take a little spree to Hay Creek since you're here at Hay Creek Lake 59, and Rock Dam Campground is a tremendous local campground. Iron Run Flowage is a delightful       lake right next door to Hay Creek Lake 59, and there are some good whitewater spots on Black River. Hay Creek Lake 59 gets a typical amount of rainfall; during August this area sees the most rain, and February on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Americinn - Thorp, Wi is a magnificent place to get some rest, and wonderful hiking is available along the Hamilton Falls Snowmobile Trail. All through the wintertime the highs are regularly in the 20's, and overnight lows in the 0's for Hay Creek Lake 59.
