This lake is so wonderful. There's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby Big Powderhorn Mountain. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors enjoyable things the Gogebic Range has to offer. Hit the slopes at Blackjack around here, and Shay Dam is a place that is in the vicinity of Hawk Lake. High       temperatures at Hawk Lake through the summer are in the 70's, and during the night it cools down to the 50's. Highs during the wintertime are typically in the 10's, and after the sun is down all through the wintertime temperatures at Hawk Lake descend into the-10's. Hawk Lake is a great spot to visit for more than one day, Wabasso Lake Campground is a great spot to camp nearby, and if you're a golfer then a great nearby course is Tahoe Lynx Golf Course. This                  lake is one of the great places here in the Gogebic Range. Having a tremendous time in the Gogebic Range is simple. This is a delightful vicinity for folks who like lakes. Virgin Lake is a lake in the neighborhood, and Big 6 RV Resort and Campground is a pleasant local campground. So many fun things to do at Hawk Lake, so little time.
