At New Richmond Mills Dam near Hatfield Lake there are some out of the ordinary things to see, and a lake close by is New Richmond Flowage 146. At Hatfield Lake during the warmest time of the year highs are in the 80's, and during the night it cools down to the 60's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's, and after the sun is down throughout the wintertime temperatures at Hatfield Lake drop into the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. Somerset Camp and Tubing

| | is a great campground nearby; you can never get enough of the glorious skiing at Trollhaugen. So much fun stuff to do here at Hatfield Lake, too wonderful to be true. Saint Croix National Scenic River is a great national park; River's Edge Camping and Resort is a tremendous local campground.
