Hat Lake gets a common amount of yearly rain; of all the months in a year September is the one with the most rain, and February on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Council Grounds State Park is a tremendous local campground; dry warm beds await you at Americinn - Merrill, Wi. What would winter be without some skiing at       Granite Peak, and there are other locations here than Hat Lake, for example Tug Lake. Summer brings highs in the 70's to Hat Lake. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 50's. For the duration of the wintertime highs are usually in the 10's with temperatures at Hat Lake dipping down into the-10's through winter nights. And that's not all you can do here at Hat Lake. Hat Lake is a wonderful spot to visit for more than one day,                  The Outpost Campground is a wonderful spot to camp nearby. Lakes? Sure, Heart Lake is close by.
