Deer Fly Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region.
From a rainfall point of view Harwood Lakes is a relatively normal site; the wettest month of the year is frequently September, that's the one that rains the
most, and the driest month of the year is February. A lake nearby is Bass Lakes, and after a long day outdoors Paradise Shores Resort Hotel is a nice location to spend a night or two. Head up to Christie Mountain and strap some skis to your feet, and if the weather is great, you can go for a hike along the Hickory Ridge Trail.
