Head up to Christie Mountain and strap some skis to your feet, and if you need a place to stay Americinn - Chippewa Falls, Wi is a glorious choice. This lake is so wonderful. In the event that you don't mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Duncan Creek. Have a delightful hiking adventure along the Hickory       Ridge Trail, and Hartnan Lake is a good spot to visit for more than one day, Rock Lake Resort and Campground is a good spot to camp nearby. So much amusing stuff in the vicinity of Hartnan Lake, truly tremendous. Lakes are fine; Boot Lake is a lake that's in the neighborhood of Hartnan Lake; dry warm beds await you at Glen Loch Motel. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Hartnan Lake. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime                  come with highs in the 20's; through the dark hours in the winter at Hartnan Lake temperatures fall to the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Hartnan Lake you can take a hike along the O'Neil Creek Flowage Trail, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always take a look at close by Cornell Lake. Hartnan Lake is a good site of common rain; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
