Swamps are exciting locations and Shung-we Creek in the neighborhood of Hartman Lake is no exception; get your heart beating on the nice whitewater of Little Wolf River. For the period of the warmest time of the year here at Hartman Lake, high       temperatures generally reach the 80's. Summer overnight lows drop down to the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's, and after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Hartman Lake drop into the 0's. Mount Joel is beautiful and can be made out from Hartman Lake, and Allen Creek is close to Hartman Lake and is always a pleasure to explore.
