Going for a hike on the Kentuck-Spectacle Lake Trail is always a fine adventure, and not far from Harriet Lake you'll hit upon Butternut Lake which is a beautiful lake. Harriet Lake is a good site of typical rain; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain, and February is when it's the driest. Camping is available at Luna-White Deer Campground, and a pleasant       close by hotel is Best Western Crandon Inn & Suites. If only every location had this much outdoors exciting stuff, what a great earth it would be. Near Harriet Lake you find the Anvil Lake Trail System which is a delightful hiking trail. High temperatures at Harriet Lake throughout the summertime months are in the 70's, and during the night it cools down to the 50's. All through the winter highs are usually in the 10's, and all through the dark hours in the                  wintertime at Harriet Lake temperatures plunge to the 0's. The Kimball Creek Trail is a wonderful hiking trail near Harriet Lake, and why not camp at Sevenmile Lake Campground since you're here at Harriet Lake. This lake is so wonderful.
