If you come at the right time of year, Eau Claire River offers some magnificent whitewater; a splendid spot to camp here at Harriet Lake is Clearwater Resort and RV Campground. Throughout the summer at Harriet Lake temperatures are regularly in the 70's, and during the night it cools down to the 50's. Highs through the wintertime are regularly in the 20's, and overnight       lows in the-10's for Harriet Lake. An average amount of rain falls at Harriet Lake; most of the rain falls during August, and February on the other hand is the driest. Be careful coming to Harriet Lake, you might not ever wanna go home again. Dry warm beds await you at Best Western American Heritage Inn. Playing golf is lots of fun at Fire Hill Golf Club, and Bluegill Lake is a splendid lake nearby. There are some nice whitewater spots on Totogatic River,                  and there's some flowing water nearby, Eau Claire River is a stream you can explore during your stay.
