This lake is so wonderful. Best Western Lakewood Lodge is a tremendous place to get some rest. While you're here at Hardwood Lake you can take a hike along the Eds Lake Trail System. There's so much to do here at Hardwood Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Ham Lake Camp Grounds is a magnificent site for that. This lake is so wonderful. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Hardwood Lake has                  to offer, you can camp at Richardson Lake Campground; get wet paddling on Wolf River. If you have a thing about the outdoors, you'll adore Hardwood Lake. On a delightful day at Hardwood Lake you can take a hike along the Popple Ridge Snowmobile Trail; Hardwood Lake is not the only site close by, Mayflower Lake is a close by lake. For the period of the warm months highs here at Hardwood Lake get into the 70's with night lows in the 50's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the-10's to Hardwood Lake.
