If you're a golfer then a great nearby course is Park Falls Country Club, and glide down the       rapids of Flambeau River - North Fork in a kayak. Lakes are such serene locations, why not check out Bullhead Lake in close proximity to Hansen Lake, and a pleasant close by hotel is Super 8 Motel - Park Falls. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Flambeau River - South Fork; perfect skiing awaits you at Whitecap Mountain. Life's too short to enjoy all the enjoyable stuff near Hansen Lake. Take a hike on the Newman Springs Ski Trail.
