There are swamps here too; Cedarburg Bog is close at hand, and Fire Ridge Golf Club is a good golf course nearby. Haneman Lake is a good place of normal precipitation; the month with most of the rain is September, and the driest of the months is February. This lake is so wonderful. Sunburst is a nice local ski area; in case you don’t have a problem getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling       on Milwaukee River. At Haneman Lake during the days of summer highs are in the 80's, and the nighttime is a bit chillier of course, ordinarily in the 50's. During the winter highs are in the 20's, and nighttime lows throughout the wintertime for Haneman Lake tend to be in the 0's. During your visit to Haneman Lake you'll meet some folks from Milwaukee-Waukesha-West Allis for sure; dry warm beds await you at Saukville/Port Washington Super 8 Motel. Haneman Lake is good enough to spend more than a day at, Lazy Day's Camp Ground is a good local campground; if you need a location to stay Baymont Inn & Suites Milwaukee/Grafton is a brilliant choice. This lake is so wonderful. Do stop by 0.45 Reservoir next to Haneman Lake, it's a stunning lake, and a great site for whitewater paddling is Cedar Creek. Why not visit G E Harris G8925 Dam while you're here; you'll locate a pretty lake called Drzewiceki Lake.
