It's a great idea to visit Rice Creek, it's close to Hancock Lake; for you golfers we recommend nearby Pinewood Country Club. This lake is so wonderful. Maday's Fish Trap Bar and Resort is a delightful campground here, and Comfort Inn Tomahawk is a wonderful place to get some rest. Stay the night at Out Post, as expected you could also pop by Boggy Lake if you're here; it's not far at all.       Hancock Lake gets a typical amount of rainfall; the wettest month of the year is ordinarily August, that's the one that rains the most while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. That right there is heaps already, but it continues; Hancock Lake has it all. If you need a site to stay Best Western Lake-Aire Motel & Resort is a good choice, and not far from Hancock Lake you acquire some tremendous water scenery at Hancock Lake Dam. Good hiking                  is available along the Bearskin State Park Trail; you can run the rapids of Wisconsin River. Summer brings highs in the 70's to Hancock Lake. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 50's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 10's with winter lows in the-10's overnight here at Hancock Lake.
