Hiking along the Dendro Eco Trail is brilliant fun, and after a long day outdoors Americinn - Iron River, Mi is a pleasant spot to spend a night or two. A pleasant spot for whitewater paddling near Halsey Lake is Popple River. There's so much to do here at Halsey Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Florence County Park Campground is a good place for       that. This lake is so wonderful. Halsey Lake is not the only place close by, Beaver Pond is a close by lake, and you can run the rapids of Pine River. For the period of the summer highs here at Halsey Lake get into the 70's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. During the winter this place gets highs in the 20's, and after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Halsey Lake drop into the 0's. Man, is there a load of fun things                  to do close to Halsey Lake. Halsey Lake is wonderful enough to spend more than a day at, Chipmunk Rapids Campground is a wonderful local campground; everyone nearby loves skiing at Brule Mountain. From a rain point of view Halsey Lake is a quite common place; August is the month that gets the most rain; February is when it's the driest. A lake nearby is Fay Lake, and the slopes of Ski Brule are so inviting nobody can resist. This lake is so wonderful.
