If you came for an overnight stay Double E Resort is a tremendous place to camp; Flambeau River - South Fork has a great whitewater paddling spot nearby. Good hiking is available along the Newman Springs Ski Trail, and whitewater paddling is magnificent on Turtle River. This lake is so wonderful.
