So many cool things to do at Lake Half Moon, so little time. Two Lakes Campground is a tremendous local campground, and a brilliant nearby hotel is Comfort Suites Hayward. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the North Country Trail is always       a great adventure; playing golf is lots of fun at Tahkodah Hills Golf Course. There are some tremendous whitewater spots on Chippewa River - West Fork. Lake Half Moon gets a normal amount of yearly rain; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain, and February on the other hand is the driest. Near Lake Half Moon you find the Virgin Pine Trail which is a good hiking trail, and after a long day outdoors Super 8 Motel Hayward Wisconsin                  is a great site to spend a night or two. There is a delightful hiking trail in the vicinity of Lake Half Moon called the Pigeon Lake Trail, and you'll find a beautiful lake called Lake Horseshoe. Summertime highs at Lake Half Moon regularly tend to be in the 70's, and the night is a bit colder of course, typically in the 50's.
