Grindstone Creek is a stream that you may come across during your stay, and Flat Creek Inn and Suites is a wonderful spot       to get some rest. The amount of rain that falls at Gurno Lake is close to the national average; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain, and February is when it's the driest. Sure, Indian Lake is just a very short distance away. This lake is so wonderful. Camping                  is available at Trail's End Resort; Lower Grindstone Spring is an inspiring spot to check out while you're here. Chippewa River has a delightful whitewater paddling spot nearby, and if you came for an overnight stay Hayward Koa Kampground is a magnificent location to camp. If you don’t have a problem getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Namekagon River, and don't leave Gurno Lake without first going for a hike along the Serley Camp Trail. Summertime at Gurno Lake comes with high temperatures in the 80's while overnight lows are ordinarily in the 50's.
