You could also pop by Little Lac Courte Oreilles while you're here at Gurno Lake; it's close by, and Christie Mountain is a splendid local ski area. This lake is so wonderful. Kampground is a magnificent location to camp. If you don’t have a problem getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Namekagon River, and don't leave Gurno Lake without first going for a hike along the Serley Camp
Trail. Summertime at Gurno Lake comes with high temperatures in the 80's while overnight lows are ordinarily in the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 10's; night lows at Gurno Lake through the wintertime regularly drop into the-10's.
