Glide down the rapids of Little Wolf River in a kayak, and it's a tremendous idea to go to Peterson Creek. A golf course next to Gurholt Lake is Glacier Wood Golf Club of Iola, and if you came to camp Deerhaven Campground is a delightful place to do that. Summertime at Gurholt Lake comes with high temperatures in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 50's. During the winter this place gets highs       in the 20's, and after the sun is down all through the winter temperatures at Gurholt Lake plunge into the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. If you come at the right time of year, Embarrass River - South Branch offers some tremendous whitewater, and Gurholt Lake is not the only place nearby, Marl Lake is a nearby lake. Scandinavia Dam is stunning and it's right next door to Gurholt Lake, and dry warm beds await you at Comfort Suites Foxfire. Just can't get                  enough of Gurholt Lake. If you need a place to stay Best Western Grand Seasons Hotel is a great choice. There's so much to do here at Gurholt Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Royal Oaks Golf Resort is a great spot for that.
