On a great day at Grimhs Lake you can take a hike along the Minnesota-Wisconsin Boundary State Trail, and if you came for an overnight stay Stuart's Leisure Acres Resorts is a pleasant location to camp. There's whitewater on St. Croix River for all you adrenaline kick people, and if you have time to spare, Saint Croix National Scenic River is a national park worth going       to. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors exciting things the area near Grimhs Lake has to offer. Get your pulse rate up on the great whitewater of Lower Tamarack River, and Luck Country Inn is a good place to get some rest. There is a wonderful hiking trail near Grimhs Lake called the Markville Snowmobile Trail, and after a long day outdoors Best Western Northwoods Lodge is a glorious site to spend a night or two. For the period of the long summer days highs here at Grimhs Lake reach the 80's with overnight lows in the 50's.
