Saint Croix National Scenic River is one of the destinations close to Grimhs Lake that are fine to go to, and Luck Country Inn is a tremendous place to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the Markville Snowmobile Trail is always a magnificent adventure; the snow is glorious at Trollhaugen.       After a long day outdoors Best Western Northwoods Lodge is a splendid place to spend a night or two, and there is a wonderful hiking trail close by called the Minnesota-Wisconsin Boundary State Trail. Grimhs Lake gets a common amount of precipitation; during June this area sees the most rain while February is frequently the driest month. If you're a golfer then a good nearby course is Frederic Golf Course, and why not head up to Wild Mountain and strap                  some skis to your feet. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Grimhs Lake, and through the night it cools down to the 50's. Highs during the wintertime are usually in the 10's with winter lows in the-10's overnight here at Grimhs Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Birchwood Beach Campgrounds is a glorious local campground; whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend St. Croix River. Man, is there heaps of cool things to do near Grimhs Lake.
