     If you need a location to stay Stoughton Inn is a great choice, and Grass Lake is a delightful spot to visit for more than one day, Lake Kegonsa State Park is a delightful spot to camp nearby. This lake is so wonderful. A golf course right next door to Grass Lake is Evansville Country Club, and during your tour here you'll meet some people from Janesville for sure. An average amount of precipitation falls at Grass Lake; through the month of June you get the most  
   rain around here, and January on the other hand is the driest. Through the warmest time of the year at Grass Lake temperatures are mostly in the 80's, and during the night it cools down to the 60's. High temperatures throughout the wintertime are normally in the 20's with temperatures at Grass Lake dipping down into the 0's through winter nights.
There's just no way anyone can get bored here at Grass Lake. Looking for a great visit? Ice Age National Scenic
 
               Trail is pretty near Grass Lake. Lakes? Sure, Lake Leota is in the vicinity; Viking Village Campground is a glorious local campground. Dry warm beds await you at Cobblestone Inn and Suites; not far from Grass Lake you'll find Lake Leota 21 which is a wonderful lake.
