A gorgeous lake like Little Island Lake close to Grass Lake is a perfect place to check out; everyone close by loves skiing at Norway Mountain. This lake is so wonderful. Country Inn & Suites By Carlson, Iron Mountain, MI is a glorious site to get some rest, and Grass Lake is glorious enough to spend more than a day at, Amberg Campgrounds and Bar is a glorious local campground. Summertime at Grass Lake       comes with high temperatures in the 80's, and the nighttime is rather cooler of course, mostly in the 50's. For the duration of the winter this place gets highs in the 20's; after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Grass Lake descend into the 0's. You can run the rapids of Pike River near Grass Lake; if you're stopping by from Marinette, you won't be the only one. Any time is a great time at Grass Lake if you like the outdoors. Some close by                  water includes Little Wausaukee Creek, and you'll find a scenic lake called Fence Lake. After a long day outdoors Best Western Crivitz Lodge is a good site to spend a night or two, and a perfect place to camp here at Grass Lake is Shakey Lakes Park.
