Why not stop by Grant Lake if you're passing through these parts. From a rainfall point of view Grant Lake is a quite typical spot; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain, and February meanwhile is the driest month. At Grant Lake throughout the days of summer highs are in the 70's. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 50's. Daytime highs through the wintertime are in the 10's; overnight lows at Grant Lake during the winter frequently descend

| | into the-10's. There's great hiking along the North Country Trail, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Chippewa River - West Fork.
These mountains rock, just look at all the enjoyable stuff to do in the Gogebic Range. There are some good whitewater spots on Marengo River, and camping at Grant Lake is wonderful fun, Chippewa River Campground is a wonderful local campground. This lake is so wonderful. golf course close by, and don't leave Grant Lake without first going for a hike along the Rock Lake National Recreation Trail. If you want a perfect time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Gogebic Range. Why not check out
nearby East Fork Ghost Creek since you're here at Grant Lake, and dry warm beds await you at North Haven Country Cottage.
You're possibly hooked on lakes, Evelyn Lake is one of those close by; the Black Lake Trail offers hiking
at its best. Grant Lake is located in the Gogebic Range. Man, is there loads of entertaining stuff to do in the vicinity of Grant Lake. After a long day outdoors Junek's Bay Cabins is a wonderful spot to spend a night or two, and
if you came for an overnight stay Boulder Lodge Resort is a pleasant location to camp.
