     The snow is fine at Blackjack; paddling on Turtle River is so much fun. The amount of rain that falls at Grant Lake is close to the national average; August is the month that gets the most rain, and February is when it's the driest. Grant Lake is a pleasant location to visit for more than one day, Double E Resort is a pleasant location to camp nearby, and dry warm beds await you at Americinn - Ironwood, Mi. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors enjoyable  
   things the area in close proximity to Grant Lake has to offer. Lakes? Sure, Little Turtle River Flowage is around here, and the best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Big Powderhorn Mountain.
At Grant Lake throughout the warmest time of the year highs are in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures sink down into the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 10's, and overnight lows at Grant Lake throughout the wintertime typically
 
               descend into the-10's. This lake is so wonderful. Float down the rapids of Flambeau River - South Fork in a kayak, and Grant Lake is right by the Newman Springs Ski Trail.
Not far from Grant Lake, you'll locate North Grant Lake which is a delightful lake; Big 6 RV Resort and Campground is a brilliant local campground. This lake is so wonderful. If you're here at Grant Lake and you like golf, you can take a look at Tahoe Lynx Golf Course, and if you need a place to stay Comfort Inn Ironwood is a glorious choice.
