Go to Granger Lake if you want to go to a nice lake. Whitecap Mountain is a splendid local ski area, and Granger Lake is not the only spot nearby, Bear Lake is a nearby lake. Don't forget to take a wonderful little spree to Camp C Creek; going for a hike on the Newman Springs Ski Trail is always a great adventure. This lake is so wonderful. Stay the night at Comfort Cove Resort, and in the event that you don't mind getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Flambeau River - South Fork. A trip to Little Cedar Rapids will fill your spirit with tremendous feelings. Smith River Campground is a perfect campground here, and a splendid close by hotel is Park Falls Super 8 Motel.
