Don't leave Granger Lake without first going for a hike along the O'Neil Creek Flowage Trail, and a lake nearby is Calkins Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Visit Cedar Creek since you're here at Granger Lake, and Christie Mountain has fine slopes and a friendly staff. The fine       folks of Eau Claire like to hang out nearby, and you can run the rapids of Chippewa River. What a place this is for outdoors people. There's tremendous hiking along the Hickory Ridge Trail, and a brilliant place for whitewater paddling is Duncan Creek. This lake is so wonderful. The Deer Fly Trail offers hiking at its best, and if you came to camp Kamp Sugarrbush Bar and Campgrnd is a splendid place to do that. Super 8 Chetek is a splendid place to get                  some rest, and Granger Lake is great enough to spend more than a day at, Lured In Lodge & Campground is a great local campground. Granger Lake gets a typical amount of rainfall; all through August this area sees the most rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Summertime highs at Granger Lake generally tend to be in the 80's, and the overnight is a little cooler of course, typically in the 50's.
