This lake is so wonderful. Get wet paddling on Milwaukee River; Little Switzerland is a very popular ski area close by. The warmest time of the year at Gough Lake comes with high temperatures in the 80's with night lows in the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 20's with temperatures at Gough Lake dipping       down into the 0's during winter nights. While you're here at Gough Lake you will meet lots of people from close by Milwaukee-Waukesha-West Allis, and paddling on Cedar Creek is so much fun. And if that's not sufficient, there's lots more to do close to Gough Lake. Playing golf is lots of fun at Hawthorne Hills Golf Course, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always stop by nearby Long Lake. After a long day outdoors Super 8 Saukville Milwaukee                  is a pleasant location to spend a night or two, and a tremendous place to camp here at Gough Lake is Willow Mill Campsite. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Baymont Inn & Suites Milwaukee/Grafton. Swamps can be such interesting spots, go to Cedarburg Bog since you're here at Gough Lake, and you can hit the slopes at Sunburst in the vicinity.
