This lake is so wonderful. Amery Golf Club is a splendid golf course close by, and Apple River Campgrounds North is a glorious campground nearby. High temperatures at Gorres Lake all through the summertime months are in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 50's. For the duration of the       wintertime this place gets highs in the 20's; overnight lows in the-10's for Gorres Lake. A wonderful location for whitewater paddling next to Gorres Lake is Apple River, and Jim Lake is a nearby lake that you could go to. Now, you may feel that's lots but there's even more fun stuff to do here at Gorres Lake. A magnificent close by hotel is Luck Country Inn. If you get bored of Gorres Lake, you could also stop at close by Omer Lake, and Port Valhalla Campground                  is a tremendous local campground.
