The Kimball Creek Trail offers hiking at its best; camping at Otter Lake Trailer Bowl is always a good experience. The amount of rainfall that falls at Gordon Lake is close to the national average; through August this area sees the most rain, and the driest month is February. Summertime highs at Gordon       Lake mostly tend to be in the 70's, and throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. During the winter highs are typically in the 10's, and overnight lows throughout the winter for Gordon Lake tend to be in the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the amusing things at Gordon Lake. Super 8 Eagle River is a great site to get some rest, and a quick spree to Mosquito Creek is unquestionably a nice idea.                  Dry warm beds await you at Days Inn Eagle River, and there's magnificent hiking along the Kentuck-Spectacle Lake Trail. A perfect place to camp here at Gordon Lake is Hi-Pines Campground; Spring Lake is a nice lake nearby. This lake is so wonderful.
