While you're here at Goose Lake you can take a hike along the Black Lake Trail, and camping at Blueberry Campground is always a perfect experience. Goose Lake is good enough to spend more than a day at, Boulder Lodge Resort is a good local campground, and hey, Beaver Lake Creek is a glorious local stream. If you come at the right time of year,       Chippewa River - East Fork offers some splendid whitewater, as expected you could also have a look at Cranberry Lake if you're here; it's not far at all. Goose Lake is a good place of typical precipitation; August is when you get the most rain here, and February on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking along the Tuscobia Park Falls State Trail is great fun; Americinn Lodge Ladysmith is a perfect place to get some rest. This lake                  is so wonderful. Summertime brings highs in the 70's to Goose Lake, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. For the duration of the wintertime highs are generally in the 10's with temperatures at Goose Lake dipping down into the-10's all through winter nights.
