Why not stop by Goose Lake if you're passing through these parts. After a long day outdoors Americinn - Hayward, Wi is a splendid location to spend a night or two, and Totogatic River has a fine whitewater paddling spot nearby. At Goose Lake during the summer highs are in the 80's, and the night is a tad colder of course, mostly in the 50's. Through the winter this place gets highs in the 10's with temperatures at Goose Lake dipping down into the-10's during

| | winter nights. This lake is so wonderful. Goose Lake is great enough to spend more than a day at, Nelson Lake Lodge is a great local campground; paddling on Eau Claire River is so much fun. Dry warm beds await you at Hayward Super 8 Motel; why not spend some time golfing at a nearby golf course like Forest Point Resort & Golf Course. If you came to camp Swansons Motel and Campground is a nice place to do that. Goose Lake gets a common amount of annual precipitation; most of the rain falls throughout August, and February is the month with the least moisture.
