The yearly rain here at Goose Lake is about average; the wettest month of the year is frequently August, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest month is February. This lake is so wonderful. Goose       Lake is not the only spot close by, Lower Eau Claire Lake 55 is a close by lake, and a good place to camp here at Goose Lake is Swansons Motel and Campground. Americinn - Hayward, Wi is a splendid place to get some rest; if you come at the right time of year, Totogatic River offers some wonderful whitewater. High temperatures at Goose Lake all through the summertime months are in the 80's. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down                  into the 50's. For the period of the winter this place gets highs in the 10's, and winter nights come with lows in the-10's to Goose Lake.
