Every year goose lake seems to get worse and worse, the weeds are horrible. Its too bad too because during the past goose lake was a pretty decent lake to fish at without it being so weedy, there are pretty huge pike in there and decent size largemouth bass, I myself about 2-3 years ago caught a 18 inch largemouth and my cousin caught a 21 inch largie fishing off the shore with a worm and bobber. I don't enjoy using live bait, so I barely use it, I like giving myself more credit by using artificial lures hah, I enjoy actually doing all the work to catch fish. I hope someday that the people that live in adams county will start paying a little bit of money to at least keep the weeds down and from taking over the entire lake. Americinn Wisconsin Dells is a great spot to get some rest, and McDougall Lake is a fine lake close by. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at K&L Campground is always a glorious experience, and there are some great whitewater spots on Baraboo River. This lake is so wonderful. Getting to Peppermill Creek from Goose Lake is trouble-free. Lakes are such calm sites, why not go to Beaver Pond 1 right next door to Goose       Lake, and Goose Lake is right by the East Bluff Trail. The East Bluff Woods Trail offers hiking at its best, and if you need a place to stay Great Wolf Lodge - Wisconsin Dells is a fine choice. An average amount of rain falls at Goose Lake; most of the rain falls throughout July, and the driest month is February. What a location this is for outdoors folks. Hiking along the Bluff Trail is tremendous fun; skiing at Cascade Mountain is one of those things you                  just must do. You'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Christmas Mountain since you're here; Goose Lake is brilliant enough to spend more than a day at, Coon's Deep Lake Campground is a brilliant local campground. Through the summertime here at Goose Lake, high temperatures ordinarily reach the 80's while nighttime lows are typically in the 50's.
