You'll need more than a day to explore everything Godfrey Lake has to offer, you can camp at Pine Grove Resort, and float down the rapids of Lower Tamarack River in a kayak. This lake is so wonderful. If you come at the right time of year, Apple River offers some nice whitewater, and a lake nearby is Hawthorn Lake. Godfrey Lake is a good place of typical rainfall; all through June this area sees the most rain, and February is the month with the least moisture.

| | Godfrey Lake is a perfect location to visit for more than one day, Clam Falls Campground is a perfect location to camp nearby, and dry warm beds await you at Lodge at Crooked Lake. I can't stop, cause I'm havin' a good time here at Godfrey Lake. Have a delightful hiking adventure along the Markville Snowmobile Trail, and if you get bored of Godfrey Lake you could also stop by close by Godfrey Lake 1. Northwoods Lodge is a great spot to get some rest. Throughout the warm days of summer at Godfrey Lake temperatures are commonly in the 80's, and throughout the night it cools down to the 50's. Throughout the winter highs are generally in the 10's while the cold winter nights at Godfrey Lake are in the-10's.
