You just can't picture the amount of outdoors entertaining things the area right next door to Gleason Flowage 2 has to offer. You can never get enough of the wonderful skiing at Granite Peak, and possibly you're looking for close by lakes? Sure, 1 Reservoir is just a very short distance away. | | is a tremendous place to spend a night or two; there are some pleasant whitewater spots on Trappe River. For the duration of the warmest time of the year at Gleason Flowage 2 highs are ordinarily in the 80's with night lows in the 50's. During the winter this place gets highs in the 20's with winter lows in the-10's overnight here at Gleason Flowage 2.

point of view Gleason Flowage 2 is a reasonably normal site; through the month of September you get the most rain around here, and February is when it's the driest. Skunk Creek D12.185 Dam is a location that is near Gleason Flowage
2, and if you came for an overnight stay Mayflower Lake Campgrounds is a great place to camp.
This lake is so wonderful. There's whitewater on Eau Claire River for all you adrenaline kick people, and you're sure to stumble upon some great folks from Merrill here.

This is a 4-5 hour drive from the n/w side of Chicago . . . and *definately* worth it. Some buddies and I go up for a few days every winter and I have to say, this is the best you're going to find without doubling your driving time or hopping on an airplane....
