Stay the night at Adventureland Campground, and there's whitewater on St. Croix River for all you adrenaline rush seekers. At Gilmore Lake during the warm months highs are in the 70's. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 50's. Through the winter highs are in the 20's with temperatures at Gilmore Lake dipping down into the-10's during winter nights. An average amount       of precipitation falls at Gilmore Lake; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain, and the driest month is February. There's so much to do here at Gilmore Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Gordon Flowage Campground is a wonderful site for that; Fischer Dam WP380 is not far at all from Gilmore Lake. Best Western American Heritage Inn is a good location to get some rest; Black Bear Golf Club is a wonderful golf course nearby.                  This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Country House Motel, and a lake close by is Gilmore Lake.
