During the summertime months here at Gilbert Lake, high temperatures mostly reach the 70's, and during the night it cools down to the 50's. High temperatures through the winter are normally in the 20's, and throughout the dark hours in the wintertime at Gilbert Lake temperatures descend to the-10's. Super 8 Superior WI is a fine place       to get some rest; there are some great whitewater spots on Amnicon River. This lake is so wonderful. Take a side visit to Beebe Creek; Gilbert Lake is a good spot to visit for more than one day, Charlie Brown's Campground is a good spot to camp nearby. If you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Hidden North Golf Course is in the vicinity, and Wasko's Lakeshore Camp is a brilliant campground nearby. Now, you may believe that's a heap but there's                  even more entertaining stuff to do here at Gilbert Lake. A striking lake like Lake of the Woods close to Gilbert Lake is a delightful place to stop at.
