Do stop by Gilbert Lake while you're in this part of Wisconsin. Gilbert Lake is located in the Gogebic Range. Gilbert Lake is a glorious place to visit for more than one day, Chippewa River Campground is a glorious place to camp nearby; the views at Apostle Islands National Lakeshore will blow your mind. This lake is so wonderful. Best Western Holiday House is a splendid location to get some rest, and do take a hike on the North Country Trail.

The annual precipitation here at Gilbert Lake is about average; the wettest month of the year is ordinarily August, that's the one that rains the most while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. are in the 20's while Gilbert Lake overnight low temperatures through the winter are in the 0's. And that's not all you can do here in the Gogebic Range. Gilbert Lake is not the only location nearby, Lake Three is a nearby lake, and
a great close by hotel is Ashland Super 8 Motel. This lake is so wonderful.
So much amusing stuff in the Gogebic Range, just fantastic. You could also go to Seitz Lake while you're here at Gilbert Lake; it's nearby, and Gilbert Lake is right by the Black Lake Trail.
