There's so much to do here at Gibson Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Port Valhalla Campground is a wonderful location for that. Luck Country Inn is a wonderful place to get some rest, and there's always Ridler Dam to pop by right next door to Gibson       Lake. Gibson Lake is a good location of normal precipitation; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain; the driest month is February. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Riverfront Inn New Richmond; since you're here you can play some golf at Amery Golf Club. Saint Croix National Scenic River is a tremendous local destination here at Gibson Lake. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Gibson Lake has to offer, you                  can camp at Apple River Campgrounds North. A lake nearby is Shiloh Flowage 151, and Apple River has a delightful whitewater paddling spot nearby. High temperatures at Gibson Lake through the long summer days are in the 80's, and through the night it cools down to the 50's. For the period of the winter highs are in the 20's; winter nights come with lows in the-10's to Gibson Lake.
