Visit Barnes Creek since you're here at Gibson Lake, and get your heart pumping on the perfect whitewater of Prairie River. Just can't get enough of Gibson Lake. Gibson Lake gets a normal amount of precipitation; during the month of September you get the most rain around here; February is when it's the driest. Merrill Super 8 Motel is a magnificent spot to get some rest, and there's whitewater on Pine River for all you adrenaline rush seekers.
