Ghost Lake is one of the lakes here in the Gogebic Range. This lake is so wonderful. A glorious place to camp here at Ghost Lake is Chippewa River Campground, and whitewater paddling is delightful on Marengo River. For the duration of the summertime here at Ghost Lake, high temperatures usually get into the 70's. Summer overnight lows dip down to the 50's. For the period of the wintertime highs are commonly in the       10's, and night lows in the-10's for Ghost Lake. But wait, there's more to do in the vicinity of Ghost Lake. Lakes? Sure, Evelyn Lake is nearby; not far from here you can enjoy the trees of Chequamegon National Forest. Dry warm beds await you at North Haven Country Cottage, and get covered with water paddling on Marengo River. A normal amount of rainfall falls here at Ghost Lake; through the month of September you get the most rain around here, and February                  is when it's the driest. Junek's Bay Cabins is a perfect place to get some rest; hiking is a popular thing to do around Ghost Lake; North Country Trail is a splendid local trail. You'll beyond doubt wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the enjoyable things in the Gogebic Range. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Black Lake Trail. That right there is plenty of fun things already but it goes on, the Gogebic Range has it all.
