Gerbick Lake is a wonderful place to visit for more than one day, Sure-wood Forest Campground is a wonderful place to camp nearby. This is no spot for people who don’t like to have a good time. There is a brilliant hiking trail near Gerbick Lake called the Bearskin State Park Trail; whitewater paddling is not for everybody       but if it's for you then, we recommend Prairie River. Birkensee Resort is a nice local campground, and dry warm beds await you at Rodeway Inn & Suites. From a rainfall point of view Gerbick Lake is a relatively normal location; August is when you get the most rain here, and February on the other hand is the driest. Big Pine Creek is one of the streams nearby that might be worth visiting; since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always go to close                  by Sump Lake. Through the summer months here at Gerbick Lake, high temperatures regularly reach the 70's, and the nighttime is somewhat cooler of course, regularly in the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 10's; overnight lows through the winter for Gerbick Lake tend to be in the-10's. This lake is so wonderful.
