Summertime highs at George Lake frequently tend to be in the 70's. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 50's. Why not camp at Presque Isle Campground since you're here at George Lake; Planter Creek is a pleasant whitewater spot nearby. Yeah, come up here to the Gogebic Range for a good time.
