If you are in Kenosha county it's always a good idea to stop by George Lake. All through the summer months at George Lake highs are usually in the 80's. For the duration of the moonlight hours it's typically in the 60's. During the winter this place gets highs in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to George Lake. close to the national average; August is when you get the most rain here while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. So much enjoyable stuff near George Lake, just unbelievable. Comfort Inn & Suites is a wonderful
location to get some rest, and Bristol Oaks Country Club is a golf course close by.
There are plenty of people from Racine here at George Lake; if you came to camp Happy Acres Kamp Ground is a pleasant site to do that. Paddling
on Pike River is so much fun. Lakes? Sure, Cross Lake is close at hand. This lake is so wonderful. Cross Lake is a perfect lake near George Lake, and glide down the rapids of Root River in a kayak.
On a great day at George Lake
you can take a hike along the Volo Bog Interpretive Trail, and lovely scenery and good skiing is what you get at Wilmot mountain.
