Gardner Lake is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. Best Western American Heritage Inn is a good place to get some rest. For the period of the summer, highs ordinarily are in the 80's at Gardner Lake with night lows in the 50's. After a long day outdoors Americinn Shell Lake is a good location to spend a night or two, and why not camp at Log Cabin Resort and Canoe Renta since you're here at Gardner Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Camping is available at Jack's Canoe Rental; Totogatic River is a tremendous whitewater spot nearby. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always stop by nearby Gull Lake, and you can run the rapids of Namekagon River.
