A visit to Garden Lake is always a good idea. But wait, there's more amusing things to do in the Gogebic Range. Near Garden Lake you stumble on the Rock Lake National Recreation Trail which is a delightful hiking trail, and enjoy a round of golf at Lakewoods Resort & Golf Forest Ridges Golf Course. There's just no way anybody can get bored here at Garden Lake. There's so much to do here at Garden Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Lake Namakagon

| | Campgrounds is a pleasant place for that, and don't forget to take a delightful little trip to Castle Creek. Janes Bay is next to Garden Lake and is a magnificent location to explore, and if you need a place to stay Junek's Bay Cabins is a magnificent choice.
This lake is so wonderful. There are some wonderful whitewater spots on Marengo River, and you're in all probability interested in lakes, Little Bass Lake is one of those close by. You'll need more than | |

a day to discover everything Garden Lake has to offer, you can camp at Boulder Lodge Resort, and there's whitewater on Chippewa River - West Fork for all you adrenaline kick people. The yearly rain here at Garden Lake is about average;
September is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest month is February.
This lake is so wonderful. There are great spots to explore along the Black Lake Trail. Having a magnificent time in the Gogebic Range is trouble-free.
Going for a hike on the North Country Trail is always a nice adventure, and North Haven Country Cottage is a wonderful location to get some rest. The Gogebic Range scenery is always beautiful.
High temperatures at Garden Lake
all through the warm months are in the 70's. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 50's. Throughout the winter this place gets highs in the 10's, and overnight lows in the-10's for Garden Lake.
