While you're here at Gander Lake you can play some golf at Hidden North Golf Course; a great place to camp here at Gander Lake is Swansons Motel and Campground. Whitewater paddling is great on Eau Claire River; Superior Super 8 Motel is a perfect spot to get some rest. Gander Lake gets a normal amount of annual rainfall; August is when you get the most rain here; February on the other hand       is the driest. If you don’t have a problem getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Bois Brule River, and Gander Lake is nice enough to spend more than a day at, Wasko's Lakeshore Camp is a nice local campground. And that's not all you can do here at Gander Lake. All through the days of summer at Gander Lake highs are usually in the 70's with nighttime lows in the 50's. Throughout the winter the highs are typically in the 20's with temperatures                  at Gander Lake dipping down into the-10's during winter nights.
