Sure, Eureka Lake is in close proximity. There's so much to do here at Lake Galilee that you need to camp here for a while, Wildwood Haven Resort and Campground is a good spot for that. If you came to camp Butternut Lake Campground is a fine place to do that, and Ballou Creek is right next door to Lake Galilee and is always a pleasure to check out. The amount of       rainfall that falls at Lake Galilee is close to the national average; August is when you get the most rain here; the driest of the months is February. This lake is located in the wonderful Gogebic Range. Not far from Lake Galilee, you'll hit upon Dollar Lake which is a delightful lake, and if the weather is glorious, you can go for a hike along the Great Divide Snowmobile Trail. This lake is so wonderful. A splendid place for whitewater paddling in the neighborhood                  of Lake Galilee is Bad River, and Mount Whittlesey is wonderful and can be seen from here. Summertime highs at Lake Galilee usually tend to be in the 80's; the nighttime is fairly colder of course, generally in the 50's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 20's, and overnight lows through the winter for Lake Galilee tend to be in the 0's. If you love the outdoors, you'll love Lake Galilee. Get your heart pumping on the wonderful whitewater of Tyler Forks, and Super 8 Motel - Park Falls is a good place to get some rest.
